Among the places we like there is @FAI - Villa dei Vescovi, in Torreglia.
A monumental patrician residence that takes the traveler back to the splendor of the Roman Empire, with its regular arches, its geometry and its location, up there to scrutinize the traveler.
The residence has everything of the Roman domus, even an impluvium, at the center of its square plan. And it is to the clergy that we owe this magnificence: the majestic villa, in fact, was for a long time a bishop's holiday resort and owes its current appearance to the numerous renovations carried out by successive owners.
Today, it is possible to relive the atmosphere that reigned in the sixteenth-century past of the villa, and even stay in the ancient rooms, resting protected by the seascapes of the frescoes and the divinities that inhabit them.
But that's not all: a well-stocked wine shop promises moments of pleasure to be spent in the park, very well kept and with fresh areas where to relax and rest one's mind.
