In the vast panorama of elegant residences that dot the Riviera Del Brenta, Villa Widmann stands out for its refinement, with its white facade and sober decoration.
When it was still Villa Sceriman, the Villa had a rural connotation and was very simple in its structure. The remarkable enlargement is due to Duke Serbelloni around the end of the 18th century. Passed from hand to hand, the Villa has undergone a major restoration in the early '900.
Example of late Venetian Baroque, the villa has a square plan and since the mid-1700s the central body became the ideal setting for receptions and parties that had as a backdrop bright frescoes and fine details. The French rococo style also dominates, in the decorations of both the Villa and the beautiful garden full of statues and water elements.
Right in the park, and in line with the gallantly lively spirit of the complex, there is a gazebo made of stone and covered in wrought iron curls: surrounded by statues of gods and cupids in stone, it can boast among the soft moss that covers it in timeless streaks, centuries of glances, gallant encounters and delicate caresses under its dome.
