The regular sound of the chisel on the stone.
It is the hand of Andrea Palladio that caresses the marble and examines the project to follow. He walks away, looks at the result of the last tap of his chisel.
The windows reflect the adolescent face of Andrea whose name still is Di Pietro della Gondola, who has yet to discover his talent. The owner of the house he is working on helps him, Gian Giorgio Trissino who is renovating the family home in the Cricoli area in Vicenza.
It will be Trissino himself who will give indications on the works and discover the young Andrea, take him under his wing and take care of him until he gives him the nickname of Palladio.
The gothic style residence will therefore find its new noble appearance, strongly inspired by classical dogmas: Palladio himself will make his own teachings and will make them the basis of all his work.
The symmetry of the villa is revealed before his eyes, while the young man's enthusiasm begins to gush together with his talent with every sign of the pencil on the sheet.
